Service managers are added toBladeWare for network connectivity, such as SIP, and media-processing resources, such as vocoder transcoding or fax send-receive. The MSP Resource Service Manager (RSM) adds support for TDM/PSTN connectivity to a BladeWare system by interfacing the Sangoma PCI and PCI Express PCM telephony interface boards to BladeWare’s call-control, fax send-receive, and voice play-record facilities. The MSP RSM supports analog and digital boards on the same system at the same time as the SIP RSM provides IP connectivity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5245″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” qode_css_animation=”” link=”http://commetrex.com/products/msp-resource-service-manager/sangoma_logo-2/”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” z_index=”” css=”.vc_custom_1578318404627{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;background-color: #f0f0f0 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]BladeWare normalizes all call control and resource APIs for the client application. So, applications need only be developed once for SIP or MSP. In fact the same application can make and accept calls without regard to the network interface being used, relying instead on BladeWare’s call-routing feature to determine the network-interface resource to be used for a particular call.

The telecom industry is following the evolutionary path set by the PC industry by devolving specific functions to highly specialized industry participants. Thus, much of the industry relies on Commetrex’ industry-leading fax technologies, and Commetrex relies upon the best-in-class PSTN/TDM PCI and PCI Express boards developed and marketed by Sangoma Technologies Corporation (Markham, ON).

The MSP RSM is available when its SDK is licensed by the OEM developer. As the same RSM supports both the Sangoma analog and digital boards, only one SDK need be licensed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” z_index=”” css=”.vc_custom_1578318800266{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 60px !important;background-color: #f0f0f0 !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”white-box”][vc_column_text]

Features

Intermix FXS and FXO to 24 ports

2U form factor (120 mmx55 mm)

Autosense with 5 and 3.3 volt busses

PCI 2.2 compliant

RJ-11 cables included

32-bit bus master for 132 Mbytes/sec

Temp range of 0-50O C

Windows and Linux support

OpenMedia streams framework

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”white-box”][vc_column_text]

Benefits

Software-defined media

Multiple media per board

Ultra-low distortion, low-noise data

Multiple vendors per board

Productive development

Improved strategic options

Configuration flexibility

Broad market coverage

Support for high-speed modems

Easily develop proprietary media processing technologies

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” css=”.vc_custom_1578586401709{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 60px !important;}” z_index=””][vc_column][vc_column_text]

System Overview

As shown in the diagram above, the MSP RSM isolates the Sangoma MSP board from the balance of the BladeWare system, except for the OpenMedia streams framework. OpenMedia is the source and destination of all media to and from the board via the PCM Steam Server. OpenMedia also has stream servers to handle storage and IP media streams. The RSM handles all call control and session establishment with OpenMedia and the media resource controllers, as does the SIP RSM for IP media streams.

Inbound calls from analog or digital boards are routed to the BladeWare call router, which consults routing rules to determine which client application should receive the current call. Similarly, the call router receives outbound call requests from the client application, consults the configurable routing rules, and routes the request either the MSP or SIP RSM.

Supported Boards

he MSP RSM supports the Sangoma A2000 analog card product line. It is comprised of 2U PCI and PCIe boards with one-to-12 two-port station or office trunk daughter cards for 2-to-24 ports using on one expansion slot.

Digital support is provided by the Sangoma A10x E1/T1/J1 boards with both robbed-bit and ISDN signaling. ISDN BRI is also offered with configurations to 24 BRI channels, yielding up to 48 ports in one slot.

Related Publications

OpenMedia SDK Product Bulletin

BladeWare HMP Product Bulletin

PowerFax for BladeWare Product Bulletin

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” css=”.vc_custom_1578316708859{margin-top: 80px !important;padding-bottom: 70px !important;}” z_index=””][vc_column][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”grid” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” el_class=”bd-first-sec”][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]BladeWare,…

["post-1404","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
