The Lucent Max TNT and Commetrex T.38 Gateways do not interoperate. Commetrex and several other vendors, including Cisco, have interpreted the T.38 specification differently from Lucent.<\/p>\n
The Lucent Max TNT T.38 can be made to interoperate with the Commetrex T.38 by auto-detecting the packet types and using the Lucent-specific ASN.1 decode\/encode (Lucent appears to have a different interpretation of the ASN.1 spec). There are a couple of other minor tweaks for Commertrex<->Max TNT compatibility.<\/p>\n
