Roswell, GA, November 1, 2006<\/strong> – Today Commetrex, a leading provider of standards-enabling software for open telephony, announced that former VoiceGenie and Vocalocity executive, Tom Ray, has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ray will lead the global expansion of Commetrex\u2019 OEM sales channels.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ray offers 20 years of sales and marketing expertise and a track record of driving revenue growth in Commetrex\u2019 key markets. In addition to his extensive knowledge of the voice industry, Ray has a keen understanding of the unique requirements facing Commetrex\u2019 platform and solution-provider customers, according to Company spokesman, Alex Adams.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ray has held management positions at Fortune 500 firms including Nortel Networks, IBM, Sony, and Proctor & Gamble. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development for Vocalocity, Ray led the sales activities for the company\u2019s VoiceXML-based product suite.
